Who is Asakura Daisuke ( 浅倉大介 )? Producer, composer, and musician. One of the best synth players, prolific, original, and absolutely adorable. That's Daisuke in a nutshell.

He's worked with such artists as TM Revolution and Kotani Kinya; been in the bands Access, Iceman, The Seeker, and Mad Soldiers; composed most of the music for the Gravitation anime series; and has had a very awesome solo career. See? He's all over the place spreading wonderful music!

Want some basics? He was born November 4, 1967 in Asakusa, Japan. He learned to play the electric organ at 10, began playing the synth at 16, and even worked at Yamaha designing keyboards (and was featured in some videos) at the age of 18. Two years later, at 20, Daisuke began his long venture into music by making music for a video game. Soon enough, he was working with TM Revolution and... well, just blew up from there!

When he met Hiroyuki Takami in 1992, they began the very homoerotic and powerful band Access. They made awesome music until they broke up just three years later. Fans were not to fear because Iceman was formed! Iceman is probably the most popular (at least in the states) of all Daisuke's projects. It also paired him up with Ito Kenichi, who he worked with extensively later on in The Seeker and Mad Soldiers.
